Alvord, Texas.

Reproduction map of the community known as Alvord, TX, drawn and published by T M. Fowler in 1890. Named in honor of the president of the Fort Worth and Denver Railroad in 1882, the community had originally been called Nina. The town of Alvord was officially incorporated in 1890, the same year that the map was published.  Complete reference list below.
