The reproduction panoramic view of Annville, Pennsylvania was drawn by Thaddeus Mortimer Fowler and published by T. M. Fowler & James B. Moyer in 1888. Annville gained momentum with the lumber industry and the rich coal fields of the 1800's. Annville was the hometown of Republican John Weinland Killinger, who served two years in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives and three years with the Pennsylvania State Senate in the mid-1800's. Lebanon Valley College was established in 1866 in Annville by the Church of the United Brethren in Christ as a learning institution for both men and women. Early ladies’ courses included wax flower and fruit making, modern languages, music, painting and drawing.

The map from 1888 includes labeled streets, buildings and railroad line. It features inset illustrations of the following:
