This bird’s-eye view print of Antrim and Clinton Village, New Hampshire was drawn and published by George E. Norris, Burleigh Lith. in 1887. Antrim was settled in the 1700's.
A brook in that location, between Gregg Lake and the Contoocook River, provided water power for the industries built alongside it in the 1800's. Cutlery of all sorts was aggressively manufactured in Antrim during that time.
Clinton Village is now considered part of Antrim.
The illustration includes labeled roads, buildings, waterways and railroad route. Featured is an inset illustration of Clinton Village.
