Reproduction of a delightful panoramic historic map of Oregon City. The map is not dated but appears to be from the 1850's. An American flag flies from a tall-mast sailing vessel on the Willamette River. Oregon City was the first city, west of the Rockies, to be incorporated. The territorial capital from 1848 to 1851, it was an important stop for anyone wishing to file a claim in the Oregon Territory.
