This bird’s-eye view print of South Acton, Massachusetts was drawn and published by Lucien R. Burleigh in 1886. South Acton was Acton’s industrial district in the 1800's. Fort Pond Brook was dotted with mills at that location.

The village there was served by the Fitchburg Railroad.
