Preliminary map of Kentucky 1891. Prepared for the Kentucky railroad commissioners by the Kentucky Geological Survey, John R. Procter, director.

This detailed map published in 1889 by Joseph Bernard Hoeing shows relief and drainage. Completely labeled cities, towns, rivers, counties and borders. Indicated in red are railroads completed, under construction, and projected. A key at the left labels railroads and their abbreviations. It is noted that railroads having but a single line are shown in black lines.
