This perspective print of Memphis, Tennessee was drawn and published by Henry Wellge & Co. in 1887. Memphis was established along the high banks of the Mississippi River in the early 1800's. The map includes labeled streets, buildings and railroad route. Steamboat activity is portrayed in the foreground.
The original print of this antique map has been enhanced to give it a clean, crisp overall tone, contrasted by the addition of blue color tinting to the rivers, skies and oceans.
